Not gonna lie, I never read any GL in my life before this. I ended up translating this because the fact that this anthology was 6 pages away from being completely translated for almost 10 years really bothered me, haha. In any case, this ended up being an after story to the one-shot Sketch, showing Togawa-senpai after she was rejected.

I like the idea of finishing incomplete scanlations like this, so I'm hoping to pick up similar projects in the near future.

I wasn't sure whether I needed to explain the joke on page 101, so I'll do it here just in case: in Japan there are legends of horned oni (ogres/demons) that control thunder and lightning, who are often portrayed with poofy afro hair.

Sousei no Taiga ch8

This time it took a month to get this done, which feels appropriate now that the series has unofficially changed from twice a month to once a month in Japan (probably due to Mori-sensei starting the Suicide Island prequel series). While a lot happens in this chapter, the fact that it's literally titled "Neanderthals" might ruin a bit of the suspense, haha.

Sousei no Taiga ch7

All the sources I found said that cave bears were primarily herbivorous, but since bears are omnivorous in general I'm not questioning Mori-sensei here. There's actually a list of sources at the end of the book, so perhaps they're worth taking a look at (rhetorically, because I'm not gonna track down a Japanese reference book just for a single tidbit about cave bears, haha).
In any case, this chapter ends on quite the cliffhanger, so I'm not going to disappear for another 9 months again or anything, I swear!

Ganbare! Memeko-chan ch28 + extra

It took over 3 months, but I'm back. Unfortunately, daily releases will not be coming back, but I'm trying to get back into the swing of things and hope to continue translating chapters in a timely fashion. I've also finally uploaded volume 1 of Memeko, which you can find on the projects page.
I'm looking forward to finishing this year on a strong note with more releases, and I'll see you again soon.

Breaking the resolution

I didn't want to make this post, but the streak is ending today. I've been struggling to keep up for a while now, and it's finally begun to affect my health, which is already tenuous to begin with. I'm a little worried about the future of my scanlating because sometimes it feels like my fear of breaking the streak and my resolution is the only thing keeping me going these days. However, I've learned and grown a lot ever since I started doing this, so maybe things will turn out better than I fear.
I want to thank everyone that's supported me over the past 5 months, and I'll see you soon.
