Oh boy, where do I even start? Just about everything in this chapter was cut from the anime, even some pretty important stuff. The one thing non-spoiler thing I'll say is that the "Yude Theoretical Physics" which Kanmuri mentions is actually a real term in the otaku community ("Yude" coming from Yudetamago, the authors of Kinnikuman). Öyster really does like his Kinnikuman references, this is the third one in the series thus far.

When originally reading this series, the quiz questions were probably the first time where I truly thought "I wanna translate this." I have to admit that I don't like this arc very much, but like the previous arc where I said that, there's enough funny and endearing moments to make up for it.
Also, Vernois's "Let's save why we're fighting for later" is another reference to Battle Yarou.

Now that Subaru is settled into the cast, it's about time for another story arc.

P.S. The "Become A Master" part of chapter 29's title is a reference to the Kinniku Shoujo-tai song "Battle Yarou," which was used in commercials for the original Super Famicom release of Street Fighter II. The author makes reference to the lyrics of this song multiple times during this arc, so I'll be pointing it out every time simply because I'm a little proud that I was able to figure out the reference, haha.

This was pretty good for a stand-alone chapter. I think my favorite moment is the callback to chapter 15 (though in hindsight I wish I translated it in a way that fit into this chapter a little better, haha).

To any Catan nerds out there: while the art is for the card Haruto is using looks like Year of Plenty, the text on the card is in fact for Monopoly (the fact that he states a resource name like Monopoly's effect corroborates this). I didn't mistranslate it or anything!
Anyways, even though this is a Subaru chapter, one of the best parts is Nona's facial expressions. There's an absolute gold mind in this chapter alone.

Okay, that's the last multi-release for a little while. I'm mentally exhausted... It lined up quite nicely though, since we're exactly halfway through now. I'm going to wait to upload the complete volume 2 until the anime gets to this point, just in case I messed any lines up. There's a lot to talk about in these chapters, but I'm just going to leave it at that.

Your eyes do not deceive you. Yes, this is a triple release, 40 whole pages long. The reasons that I teased for busting my butt off on these multi-chapter releases is because I'm trying to keep up with the anime adaptation, which has a penchant for cutting a lot of content, and this streak of chapters feels like it could be severely cut or omitted entirely. Also, I really didn't like this arc when I first read it, so I wanted to get it over with ASAP. It's grown on me a bit since I translated these chapters though (there's just too many hilarious and endearing moments).
In any case, I'm hoping to get one more double release out next week, and then I'll be back to single releases for a little while.
